1) Boil
2) Weight
3) Fine Grind
4) Soak the Filter
5) Line Up

Place with the flared end up. The numbers should appear upside down. Attach the black filter cap & place it right side-up. This is the non-inverted method.

6) Add your ground coffee

Add 20 ml of water to your amount of grounds. Gently immerse the grounds with a spoon or butter knife. Let this sit for 30 seconds. This is the blooming stage.

7) Stir & Let Sit

Add another 130 grams of water and let it sit for one minute. After a minute has elapsed, give your grounds 10 vigorous stirs.

8) Unscrew & Flip

Screw the cap onto the Aeropress. Flip the whole assembly over your cup or brewing vessel with haste and control and purpose. All three.

9) Plunge

Now apply downward pressure. Your coffee’s fully brewed once it begins to make a hissing sound. This means there’s no more water to push through the device.
